Why are Handy Stands not hands-free (touch-less)?
We designed Handy Stands to be useful, simple, and durable. Hands-free dispensers are great, but they can be expensive and they come with the added complications of batteries to replace and refill packs to source. We like pump-style bottles because they're readily available and dependable. Foot-pedal designs have moving parts that can break and the added components drive up cost.
The single point of contact of a hand pump provides minimal exposure to germs, plus; you're immediately sanitizing the hand that touched the pump. So, with either method (hands-free or pump) you get germ-free hands. But, Handy Stands can meet that goal at a lower cost while giving you more flexibility with what you use.
